I am currently doing AS levels in Biology, Environmental studies, Geography and Maths. I am really unhappy with Maths and wanted to know if you can drop an AS soon before the exam. I am getting Us in tests and struggling with trying to revise for all of my subjects.

well we were just entered for our exams so when they give you that exam sheet with all the exams on it and tell you to sign it, talk to them and say you wanna drop the AS or not be entered for the exams and that should be fine...

We haven't got an exam sheet but I think we have already been entered into the exams, can I still drop it?

I don't think so. My friend wanted to drop maths and were told it was too late as they had covered almost everything, then again you could always just not show up for the exams.

You can if you air your concerns properly, it's better than ending up with a bad grade.

If you have a good enough reason you can drop out at any point, although you may surprise yourself with how well you can actually do. At the moment revision seems a bit overwhelming but it often falls into place closer to the time.
That said, when doing my AS levels i dropped two subjects about a month before the exams for medical reasons and the school was fine with that and sorted it all out.
