My sister had just brought her first car, a lovely little KA 04 plate drives brilliantly and there is nothing wrong with it, full papers. When looking at the papers it failed its MOT last year, but they had it all fixed now perfectly, apart from one advisory. Please note; she has already brought it.
But what does this one advisory mean? Does it just need to be repaired during the next MOT?

Well it's something that the tester noticed that's not bad enough to fail... what it means depends on what the advisory is specifically about.

TBH I've had advisories one year that didn't even appear as advisories the next test (even though I did nothing about them in the mean time) - loose door hinge IIRC
