Currently a 1st year Comp Sci student and De Montfort University. I'm wondering what my chances to transfer to Queen Mary would be at the end of the year to be closer to family.

    My A-Levels:
    - Computing: C
    - Biology: D
    - Psychology: D

I know my results are poor. I would have resat if I wasn't in such a hurry to get away from my sixth form (head of year in particular). I went through clearing after not achieving the grades required of my offers (UEA and Queen Mary).

I would be willing to start first year fresh or do any extra classes or anything to be honest.

    Thanks.

You could send an email to the relevant admissions department ans ask.
If that doesn't work out then there are other universities in East London which could be suitable for you.

Contact the uni and tell them that you want to transfer and tell them about your situation, email them or ring them but making a phone call will probably get you a faster response.

    Good Luck
