I was in highschool back in Norway, I finished my first year with quite the mediocre grades ( C's and B's). Up until two years ago I moved to Dubai where the educational system is divided into numerous choices. i.e.( British, American and French). I took the British school system, told my Dean what year I finished back in Norway and he recommended A levels. As an adolescent with no knowledge of what A levels is, I took it. I then researched about it and came into the fact that it consists of AS and A2. Right now I have finished my exams, got C's and 1 D in Business, Psychology and English Language. Right now there might be the possibility of me and my family moving to England. I've roamed around this site and seen quite a lot of posts saying that the student norm consist of having 3 A2 and 4 AS subjects. Does that imply that I have to do 4 more subjects just to get accepted into the university of Manchester or Liverpool.
Please help me on this I am quite concerned about my future

-Ps my exam board was EdExcel and not CIE

You do 4 subjects in the first year (which are AS levels) then drop one and carry 3 on to the second year (which are A2s)
