Yeah potentially. In my papers, I put strictly on-spec material, but for my worksheets, well, we can have some fun, can't we
You could put some symbol by the question to mean "extension material, not on specification" so that you don't scare people into thinking they are supposed to be familiar with the material.

That way your worksheets cater for both the ordinary students and for the more adventurous ones.
