what did you guys write for "why is T self-inverse" for the matrix question?

Posted from TSR Mobile
I had no clue, I just found the determinant of the matrix.
2. Ah messed up first proof Q and very last part of last Q
3. What was the geometrical relationship between those lines?

I put they were parallel, what was the other mark for?

Also was z^2 -8i ?

And for the modulus did people get 2.34?

You had to find the inverse of T. It was the same as T. So it is a self inverse

No idea for the lines. I got a=-1 and so the modulus was sqrt(5), which is 2.34.

If you found the inverse of T you would show it was equal to T.

Did you get -1?

1. rotated 135° or 3pi/4

2. Dunno, didn't get there in time

3. yeah

Yeah I got -1 for the determinant.

was the area of triangle 49root2/2
there was an area of a triangle question!?!
11. Think i got ~50 which sucks... most questions were easy. Got confused/ stuck on the chord question (tried and failed), both inductions lol (obvs managed for n=1 but failed in n=k+1 ) and on the find a when z is a real number.. disappointed not sure how i could have done better. Thought series was my weak spot but that question was simple

I don't remember there being one..
Maybe different exam board?? Or fear mongering lol

One had length sqr(5) and other had 2sqrt(5). So it is twice the length. I guess the first mark was working out the length

Why do you delight in telling people that? I've got 75/75 in past papers before and done a past paper every week since January and I found it slightly more challenging.
Stop trying to antagonise.
Nah jokes I know her the paper was ****ing solid probably dropped about 20 marks
15. For the modulus, I got 5? Thought it's just a real number with no 'I' component...

Enlargement scale factor 2 followed by a translation of something like (-4,-3) dont remember the exact number
17. wtf i think it was really hard i may not get A can't do the prove induction question the first one got stuck for a along time……

Should have been root5 iirc
19. i think i got 75
20. FP1 banter.
