So, I've been missing around 1 day a week of education due to mental health issues and I'm feeling so guilty for it, I just find it so stressful because, exams, friends etc. I just need some reassurance/help?

Heya!!! What's important is that you keep healthy, because if you're not feeling good yourself, then education isn't going to happen! I found out who my true friends were when I was having difficult times at school, and although it did hurt a lot at the time when I found out that probably 90% of who I thought were friends, weren't really, it was kind of liberating, and made those true friends I did have more valuable

I'm sure things will work out in the end, it just may be a slightly longer journey for you because of missing a day a week! But definitely DO NOT feel guilty for it

Having been in a very similar position myself the past couple of years, the best thing i can suggest is to not let it take over.

Of course dealing with your health is the most important thing but I found i let myself drift away from my friends, getting stuck in my own issues and not having the energy or motivation to give friendships much effort.

As hard as it might be, still try even if its just with a few closer mates. In terms of exams, i used to get sooooo stressed out about them but i want to reassure you that it really does not matter. If you put too much weight on work then everything else will slip and so will your work too. Even if you dont do so well, there are so many routes to get where you want to be in the future.

And you can easily retake as many as you need at some point, be that one or two or the whole lot that said, you will probably surprise yourself with how well you can do, i know i certainly did!!
