I'm currently doing the GDL and am committed to heading down the barrister route. I've already done 3 mini-pupillages, none of which I had to interview for (5 St Andrew's Hill, 1 Gray's Inn Square, 36 Bedford Row).
I've recently applied for assessed minis at 11KBW and Blackstone, both of which I've been invited to interview for.
I actually had my 11KBW interview today, and whilst I tried to prepare by listing points of many pervasive debate topics beforehand, I was of course a little thrown by the ones I was given. I think it went okay - it definitely wasn't awful, but you can never be too sure.
I have my Blackstone interview in April, and I was just wondering if anyone had any tips/experiences/advice on mini-pupillage interviews where you are given debate topics?
What do you think?
