Hey, this year was not good for me. I know my mistakes and i dont think I can achieve the grades i need. Now I think fail pretty bad in the up coming exams. I want to do computer science in UNI. Now my questions is that, if i re do year 12 will it affect my chances of getting into a good uni. I was thinking warwick or durham. Is applying oxford/cambridge totally out the question even if i achieved the grades needed to entry ?

We'd certainly consider an application from you for Oxford. We appreciate that sometimes things don't go smoothly: we're most interested in how you would get on in the future, rather than what's happened in the past.

You've been vague about what has gone wrong with this year, which is understandable in a public forum. If you've had personal difficulties, then a mention of this from your referee would be useful. If (to be blunt) you just haven't worked hard enough, then we would need to see evidence that you're now taking your studies more seriously.
