I have one ring binder with file dividers separating each of my subjects. When it gets too full I transfer the notes into a lever arch file.

For example, for A Level I had a ring binder with my notes for Geology, Geography and ICT, with dividers between them. When it got too full, I moved them to a lever arch file to keep at home, and continued adding new notes to the ring binder which I took to college

One or two folders for each function(pdf lecture notes, handwritten lecture notes, assignments). Within set of folders one divider for each module.

For A-level I just did a subject per folder.

I think I have a lever arch file, but Im not sure. Its basically a large file with metal rings down the middle. If so, should I keep all my papers and stuff in there? Or maybe get a smaller one to carry around as my large one will be kept at home. Thanks

You could keep your most recent stuff in it and then keep long term folders at home. It depends how much paper you have.
