What kind of doors will these open up for me? Is the workload too difficult? Will I enjoy these subjects?

Great choices with subjects. They all go together.

Choosing biology, chemistry and maths open nearly all doors for any science based degree. Eg. Biomedical, medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, Biochemistry and many more. Most of these degrees only want two sciences.

You can also apply for the subject degree you are studying so biology, chemistry, maths or French. Some of these degrees have a year aboard placement which you can do. Especially with French a level.

I'm currently studying A2 biology, chemistry and maths. The work load is much more than GCSE however that's every subject at A level. Bio, Chem and maths go together so in some topics your knowledge from the courses with help each other.

If you like science and maths then go for these subjects. If not, then you won't really enjoy learning the courses and you probably won't understand anything.

If you have more questions, feel free to ask. 🙂

What kinds of doors do you want them to open? Put it this way, they wouldn't close many...

Do you enjoy these subjects at GCSE? If yes, then you'll probably be fine at A-level.

maths + phy + chem is an amazing combo.

French is very useful for work abroad (also great at uni to allow you to do a year abroad at a french-speaking university)

As long as you enjoy all of these, then they are perfect!
