This looks insane!
yea man... if you're into that sort of scene it really is... such good times everyone is just out their heads vibing. I went to 5 last year, they cost more than an average nights with tickets at £25 + taxis and other costs lol but totally worth it.

Decent! I listen to quite a broad spectrum of edm so I'm sure there will be some acts I like! Good to hear people are there for the music and not just to get wasted and pull like clubs. Was very surprised to see four tet had played there...must have been an interesting set!

Yeah that's a little pricy but I'm not really a drinker so it won't cost too much hopefully.

WHP is a great night out but can be expensive (usually £18-25) and that doesn't include taxis, booking fee etc). I advise when the lineup for this year is released (probably within the next few months) you pick out 2/3 nights to go to between September/New Years. Each night is themed by a different genre of dance music so there's plenty of choice from house to drum & bass. But be prepared for the crowds!

What club in Manchester which played EDM (electronic dance music) such as Swedish House Mafia, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, and Alesso? Any feedback would be really appreciated thanks.

I'm not aware of any night's that specifically play those artists, I know some Chain clubs like TigerTiger etc play those artists as well as music on the charts... it's not really my preference but there're must be a few edm nights going on in a city as big as Manchester.

Haha no way I've got my eyes on Andy C, Shy Fx, Four Tet, Hospitality, Fly Lo and I've already got tickets for Disclosure in November  They've seriously jacked up the price since last year which is a bit (predictable) but disappointing - no £18 nights like they did last year :s-smilie:

As for queues I went 3 times last year and every time we set at arriving around 8.30 and we walked straight in, no queues. Fine it was pretty empty but it was pretty fun having about half an hour in a (pretty much) empty warehouse and dancing right next to the booths in front of the djs. I know around 9.30 to 11 is when the crowds start coming in cause it's almost impossible to move in the bar room by the front door, you do not want to get caught up in that, especially when it's so cold outside and you've already missed 4 acts that you've paid to see.

For getting back we try and leave at 3.45 (15 mins before the end, more time if you're using cloakroom) at least to get a taxi before the queues, we forgot about that last year after Hospitality and had to walk for 20 minutes before finding a taxi in the middle of nowhere cause the queues were so bad (you never want to do that at 4am in Manchester).

Thanks for the info! Definitely will get there early don't want to miss out on the acts, do you need to book tickets quite early on then? I don't really want to book anything yet until I get my results mid august.

Hmm most nights are 'sold out' but there may be some paper ticket sellers in your halls and you're bound to find people selling spare tickets in your halls/fallowfield towards the date. I'd stick with not worrying about tickets for now, I only booked Disclosure as a post bday treat with some school friends, the rest I'm going to wait till I move into Manchester next month and I get to know people in my halls/flat better first!
