    Currently doing one. Don't do an apprenticeship unless you know it will help you in the future. Im doing a Business administration apprenticeship, and I want to be a fitness instructor. This qualification is essentially useless to me.
    Also, Im an 18 yo guy working with 16 middle aged women. its horrible.

    For my career I need a degree (STEM researcher), but if I didn't then I would have definitely looked into apprenticeships. As long as you avoid places like retail (which has an awful reputation for apprenticeships), apprenticeships are actually quite decent.

    The problem is all the Mickey Mouse apprenticeships going around these days.

    Essentially minimum wage jobs for less money.
