How easy is it to get a permit for parking at the university? I'll be starting uni this September and it's so important that I can take my car. I will have placements as part of my course and my anxiety means that I cannot rely on public transport at all :/ I'm stressing about this already and it's ages away, I should be able to get a permit right? And how do I go about doing it closer to the time?

First year students may apply online via e-vison or to Campus Services Office (M2.08) once they have enrolled and received their TUSC (Student Card) Returning Students may also renew online via “E” Vision from Mid-August onwardsThe University provides three all-day pay and display car parks with a fixed charge of £2.00 all day - the Middletown,Penn and East Parkside Village car parks.Returning students may apply online via e-Vision from mid August onwards. New students may apply online via e-Vision once they have enrolled and received their TUSC or apply in person at the Campus Services Office (M2.08). A TUSC activated for access to the Middletown/Penn/East Parkside Village car parks also grants access to Students’ Union short-term car park (£1.50 up to four hours). But if you have opted for free all day parking in Cannon Park Way you are not eligible to have your TUSC activated for access to Campus car parks. The University also provides one other staff and student all-day pay and display car park, the Dartmouth car park, with a fixed charge of £2.00 all day. No prior registration is necessary but production of a TUSC may be required by the car park attendant.
