hi guys, so i am doing foundation year science, and basically i have failed the course because i didn't do one of the modules as the university didn't put on my timetable and also didnt send me any absent emails in semester one so i am 10 credits down meaning i will fail the year no matter what. i will not blame the uni because i was suppose to check with the uni what modules i was suppose to be in. but my question is can i resit the foundation year and will student finance support me?
i am in a big mess, i am literally scared for my future right now, please guy someone help me, i will give a massive virtual hug
    , thank you

Maybe. Student finance use this formula to calculate your student finance entitlement: length of degree - years of previous study + 1 gift year = years of funding. If your foundation year forms part of your course (e.g. a four-year BSc Physics with foundation) then in theory you should be able to use your 'gift year' to fund the repeat foundation year. Phone them and ask.
