For years I have had an unexplainable and ridiculous fascination with boarding school which was probably something to do with reading Enid Blyton books when I was little. I've always really wanted to go to one, but I'm a state school student from the North East so what my parents earn has never really allowed it and whilst I'd probably be bright enough to get a scholarship, even 10-20% cut off the fees would be too expensive. And now I'm in Year 13, so there's no hope for me ever attending haha.

But what is it really like? Have I just got an idealised image in my head of midnight feasts and Latin lessons? I would really like to know ☺️
