I am applying for DSA and I do not have a laptop. I have heard that DSA will fund a laptop for me but I will have to fund the first £200. I would like to know whether I will get a choice over the laptop I receive. Also, is it is possible for me to be given money to buy it myself so that I can get a student discount (e.g. Apple has a 15% student discount)?

    Hi redinthegrey

You may be able to get help towards a laptop depending on your needs. Once you apply you will be asked to go to a needs assessment meeting to see what things you may benefit from help with. Any award will be discussed from there on-wards.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
