What board are you?

For OCR (I can get the other boards for you as well if you're not OCR), see attachment. All other formulae are given in the formula booklet.

If you're Edexcel, I've got a list that I've made for myself already. Just tell me and I'll type it out.

Here's the Edexcel one (from the specification) as well (someone just asked me for it so I though I'd post it here as well):

The line about independent events - Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it nonsense? How is the probability of A dependent on B the same as the probability of B?

It isn't.

...which is what the sheet says...

P(B|A)=P(B) (i.e. probability of getting B given that we just got A is equal to the probability we get B on the first try; they are independent.)

It's for independent events, so the probability of the event B occurring doesn't depend on the event A occurring. So probability of B given A is just probability of B, because the probability of B happening would be the same whether A happened or not.
Hope thats cleared it up

It's odd that you only need to memorise 2 formulae for OCR, but so many for Edexcel...

Our Statistics teacher taught us a formula for Linear Interpolation.

Do we actually need it?

I havent seen it come up.
