If you did 1 year of a levels and then moved somewhere else what would you do there? watch

    Let's imagine if you were moving to Scotland, for example. Could you continue doing the second year of highers over there in the same subjects? Or would this affect your entry into uni?

    Moving to Scotland would be less problem than moving the other way. Highers take 1 year and Advanced Highers take a further year. So if you moved schools/countries between Yr12 and Yr13 then you would probably be fine to enter onto a mix of H and AH qualifications (providing your Yr12 studies were broadly compatible).

    It would be worth contacting schools/colleges ASAP to talk about how the curriculum varies and what evidence they'd want to see from your current country for entry onto Scottish quals.
