I am going to be starting university next year and I was wondering if it is possible to have a job with a company like Tesco where I only work when I am home (so at Christmas, Easter and summer) rather than being transferred so I am working while at university as well? Because I would rather not work while at uni.

depends on the place, the longer you've worked there (I'd imagine) the more likely they are to be flexible

I think there are companies who will allow you to work on holidays and paid per hour like restaurants.
