I have a lot to learn for my GCSE exams in a couple months, but the problem is..I cant seem to remember key information. I've tried repetition and flash cards. Any tips?

repeat you key points everyday - so repeat it once and then go somewhere else and then after 10-15 min come back to your room and then test your self - do this everyday

Have you tried attempting to write things down as though you're explaining them to someone else? Or better still, find yourself a friend and both of you try telling each other key facts. Sometimes if reading things over and over again isn't working, writing them down over and over again or saying things out loud/explaining them can help feed them into your memory. The problem is everyone picks things up differently. You just have to find the way your memory works and then you can do things that play to your strengths.

I find that i will remember things SO much better reading it straight before i go lie down on the bed, and then when i wake up, brushing my teeth and on the bus journey to school, i think about what i've read last night and it just comes back to my head instantly with loads of specific details as well, not just the outline of things. i've tested this routine several times now with my french essays ready for my speaking and writing exam.
