    Does anybody know what the WJEC GCSE English language grade boundaries are?

    Great! For the June 2016 exam. Higher tier. I'm sure the reading paper is out of 40 marks and the writing paper is out of 40 marks. I think the four controlled assessments are out of 80 marks in total.

    Ah okay. June 2016 boundaries aren't released until results day or the day before. However, the boundary of the total scores of the two papers should be within 1 or 2 marks of the following:

    70 A*
    62 A
    54 B
    47 C
    39 D
    31 E
    24 F
    17 G
    Below 17 U

    Sorry I couldn't supply the 2016 boundaries, however I hope this was useful.

    not sure, i got 178/200 UMS and that's an A overall, i was told by my teacher that i'm 2 marks off an A* so she sent it back for a remark. i dont know the individual grade boundaries sorry.
