Where is my nearest GUM Clinic?

My boyfriend wants me to go for one. I've been trying to ring up the one in Hartshill in Newcastle for the past month but noone answers the phones, so i dont know what to do.

Any ideas, hes in a real mood with me about it and im getting worried. hes just suddenley gone off the roof

i believe you do isaac lol. its as if he isnt speaking to me anymore though. He flipped a lid and i was sleeping on the floor. He said he hated me.

I did and they gave me the newcastle one but noones answering and now i cant book an oppointmen with my GP untill next month after my exams because shes so busy :frown:

Its says everywhere on the internet and everything that you cant do that and you have to ring up. Its realy annoying. At the moment i have no money and can only afford one bus journey down there. that would be to make the appointment, and not to get back there for the check up. so im in a dilemma of what to do whether your not allowed or are allowed. looks like im going to have tp ask rents for money and find a reason why!

If you know where your clinic is, why dont you go the 'drop in clinic' (non appointments) and that way you'll get tested without having to be wait! Its what iv done in the past as appointments here in Gloucester are about a month or so waiting. The receptionists told me to come to the drop in one as its better n quicker!

There's one a short walk from newcastle city centre and if you're at uni in newcastle its probably only a 10 - 15 minute walk away. Not too sure of the name of the place though.

Yes you can. :smile:

If you ask for a same-day appointment then they have to give you one (although this may be arranged with a different GP, if your normal one really is too busy). Otherwise a NHS drop-in clinic is the way forward.
