I'm planning to study either International Business (Plymouth) or Business Management & Law (DMU) and need some opinions on which is the better choice.

Which uni has the better business department (teaching standards, course quality etc...)?
Extra options such as learning a language or doing modules from other courses. Is it possible to do a law module for International Business in Plymouth?

What are campuses like? Size, access to shops and amenities.

Facilities and clubs. Are they well organised and enjoyable? In particular martial arts, OTC and stuff like hiking. Possibly volunteering too. Which uni offers more international opportunities (travelling), either course related or as extra-curriculum?

Travelling to and from London is not a problem. But good transport options are useful.

    Any help is highly appreciated!

Plymouth uni is pretty much in the city centre. (I've got no idea about the accommodation though) So, in those terms, you've got a lot of access to the shops and you're not overly far from the railway station either.

DMU is pretty close to the city centre, maybe a 5 or 10 minute walk, it's also not far from the bus station. The course has good reputation in law/business I believe, so I would recommend DMU to you. The accomodations are pretty much a part of the campus which is also a plus. I've heard that Plymouth is not too bad either, so it's up to you

    Heya

I've moved this to the Business Management forum for you - it should be more useful than University Life for information about reputation etc.

Also check out the list of uni fora to get specific information about each of those universities.

    Good luck!
