Hi, in everyone's opinion which is better, Social Policy at LSE or Politics at KCL?

Have offers from both but I am finding it hard to decide whether to go for the more prestigious uni (LSE) or arguably the better course (kings). Thanks

    Hi there!

I reckon an advice that any university student would give you is: make sure you are interested in the content of the course, and even more, make sure you'll love it, because this will be 50% at least of your university experience, so don't go for something you do not enjoy very much or are not sure to enjoy very much because you won't get any motivation to do well because of it.

On the other hand you should really make sure that you understand the differences between the two programmes, because there is quite a lot of difference to me

After weighing the pros & cons carefully if you still think courses at king's are better just go for it because King's is also really popular among employers, if that's what you worry about, and it's also in London so you won't miss anything that happens in London really. Then again I might be biased as I am doing politics at King's so I'd say just trust yourself and go for what's more important for you: prestige or courses quality

PS: check out the student life there, it should be a great determinant for you because you should feel at ease and home as it's really going to be your home for at least three years!

    Hope it helps,
