    Seems like its clearly better to have government control, but hopefully you can prove me wrong since i will have to debate against government control on monopolies. Please post your opinion with explanations, thanks beforehand

    What do you mean by government control? Of course they need to be regulated to some extent (as with any industry) but too much interference will inevitably be a negative thing (loss profits, less productivity etc.)
