I'm really interested in space and I'm quite academic so astrophysics seems like quite a good possible career choice, however I also love photography and would love to pursue that in A-level, even though it won't be much use to me in a Physics career.

Do you think it would be a stupid idea to do a Photography A-level alongside Physics and possibly Chemistry, Maths etc that could help if I decide to go to Uni for a degree?

I would recommend Further Maths. If you can do five then sure, do Photography!

Maths, further maths and physics is a brilliant combination to study physics at university.
If your school doesn't offer further maths you could self teach it and do it via the further maths support network. Its a really good thing to have! And you could do photography as well for your fourth A level.

Maths, further maths, physics & chemistry is also a nice combination as chemistry opens a lot of doors if you decide not to do physics or you are unsure.
That is what I am doing as I don't know what exactly I want to do.

Maths, physics, chemistry and photography is fine but I really recommend doing further maths especially if you are aiming for the top universities You don't need further maths but it helps!
