    I'm confused about why it matters, actually. I should think a person who has both of those degrees would be well placed to look for jobs in Law. If that were me I'd be rather happy that I found my second degree easier than my first one.

    In the big wide world there are actually people who keep quiet about the fact that their first or second degrees are 'prestigious and academically rigorous' from Oxbridge. Not everyone is impressed by that - quite the opposite.
