Hello, I'm an A'Level Edexcel Student and i'd like to understand it's mathematic requirements. I have taken 6 units/modules (C12/C34/M1/S1) and I was wondering can I give my M1 in my A2 exam along with C34? The other three (C12 and S1) I was gonna give it in my AS exams. Can you kindly give me a description of A'Level Mathematics as I am currently having trouble understanding it's general system and the other websites don't give me the exact answers as I want!!!
    Thank You

I did OCR MEI not edexcel but I'm assuming the modules works similarly. I presume you're asking if you can sit M1 as part of your A2 exams and that's perfectly fine, as long as you do 6 modules including C1, C2, C3 and C4 then it's fine. I did M1 at A2 along with C3 and C4 and I got my a level in maths!
Just to clarify, I'm unsure of how the new a-level system works but that's how it was for me.

I'm not totally sure what you mean but I'm assuming what you mean by this is for university engineering courses.
Well mechanics modules will help. I do chemical engineering and there wasn't really a requirement to do certain modules but I know some unis might ask for certain modules (most likely mechanics) I only did M1 but the more mechanics modules you can do, the better!

This isn't something you need to worry about. A2 does not exist as a qualification - there is AS and A level. The A level will contain all 6 units. If you request an overall grade for AS then they will automatically calculate it with C12 and the better of M1 and S1.

In the UK you generally need Maths. Further Maths to AS or full A level preferred for the better universities at a bonus anyway. I don't think any universities specify which units you need to do within Maths/FM.
