    Kind of.
But the thing is all the main political ideas on the left and right are old. For example, these austerity measures are actually older (classical( than the Keynesian policies the left promote.

And under normal circumstances he would have no chance of becoming PM, but with Corbyn in opposition, it is clear who the British public will vote for. I personally don't think he will make it as leader of the Tory party, my money is on Boris, though I would prefer a genuine eurosceptic conservative like Rees-Mogg or Peter Bone.

Surely his chances of becoming PM are diminishing.

Theresa still would've won it. I called it during the EU referendum, got it on the bet slip too although I thought it'd be when Cameron resigns on his own terms since I was expecting remain to win. But you could tell she was be being sly by campaigning for remain but trying to keep it balanced by criticising the EU each time she praised it so she'd appeal to everyone in her party and not alienate one side like Osbourne and Boris did

I think if remain won , Osborne would succeed Cameron.
I taught Borris would be in 10.
Theresa stayed pretty neutral through the referendum though and she was clever.
You betted May would be PM b4 the result?
    That is really good

You don't have to roleplay , you can be a party member and have access to the subforum, we discuss some issues.
    You don't have to engage.
We can just remind you to vote for us nearer the time as unsolicited PM's aren't allowed.
However there will be a mass PM from the speaker so that'll remind you.

Even though it was 12 months ago, it concerns me that 8% of people thought Gideon Osbourne would be a good PM. Probably a lower figure if you asked the question now, given his 600k a year part-time job.

More concerning would be the number who would like Nigel Farage as PM, or Jeremy Corbyn.

If he went unopposed, and didn't alienate people on the other side of his party during the EU referendum, yeah. But now I you could be right, because it would've gone to a party vote for sure and well Theresa kind of lacks debate on most issues, I've no doubt Osbourne would've crushed her on most of them too espically the economy. The whole reason Boris supported leave was because he wanted to get into No.10 and win the support of his party, he wasn't expecting to win and didn't have his heart in it he just wanted the attention and support to get to No.10. I can't wait till make documentaries about all this stuff it's more messy than the Blair-Brown stuff.

I could just tell Theresa was pro-brexit but played it neutral and wanted to keep the unity while everyone destroyed their own paths, although I betted thinking Cameron would leave on his own terms in 2018. I got her at a beautiful 11/1 to be the next conservative leader & British prime minister, best part is I was having work experience in her office at the time of her leadership announcement I also remember when Theresa was selecting her cabinet and I was just thinking apart from Osbourne who could really be Chancellor like no one of them had look, I honestly said Hammond to my friend and it was but it was purely based on appearance. 2016 was quite a good year for my predictions I remember saying whoever won the presidential election wouldn't win the popular vote (I was studying the electoral college in school and how Bush didn't win the pop. vote at the time) and a week before I called Donald to win it! I got it at odds of 3/1 only a few days before, amazing odds. Now I don't feel connected to politics at all, it's all upsidedown  I could bet on horses and be more likely to get it right.
