Hi guys, I'm currently doing some flashcards for Unit 4 and i want them to include a summary of the syllabus without extra info.
I wanted to know if the routes that viruses take when they enter a host cell (Lytic and Lysogenic) are included in the specification.
    Also, Retroviruses and Bacteriophages.
These are mentioned in the textbook and one other rivision guide but not other books, so are they included or not?

Look at the specification, if it's not on there you don't need to know it. The spec is very concise and tells you what you can be tested on. Also stick to the main bio textbook, and just learn it back to front inc all questions and bolded words,

I have them in my book as well, the Ann Fullick book to be precise, I don't know if they're included or not but the book says that it's endorsed by Edexcel so I studied them incase if they are

If the content is not in the specification, or the main edexcel textbook, there is no way they can ask about it in the exam. Go through past papers and find what marks they allow, familiarise yourself with marking points.
