GF feels guilty afterwards

Hi my gf says she feels guilty after i go down on her. she says she enjoys it at the time but afterwards feels guilty...but it happened with her past lovers so its not just with me.

And cos of this she feels anxious when i try it so i feel put off and don't do it. But i want to. so what gives? what should i do?

Reassure her they you do actually really want to, and that you're not doing it just because you feel you should/because you want something in return. :smile:

As I presume that could be where her feelings of guilt of come from in the past.

I'm just the same, I mean I suppose I enjoy it but having all the attention on me freaks me out beyond. And then of course you feel guilty because of that.

Really can't explain it, my bf at the moment understands I don't feel comfy with it and won't go down and I'm pretty sure that if ever he does I'll be ready because I've learnt to relax around him. Maybe you should ask her if she wants you to? Or if she'd like to wait a bit and try further on in relationship?

It really isn't any reflection at all on the man, honestly! For me it's simply attention being on me, and if am honest not being able to see his face :smile:

It is probably the fact that she feels she's being selfish but maybe try making it clear that you really want to focus all your attention on her and you get just as much enjoyment out of it as well.

Though if she's really not comfortable with it then probably best not to do it.

I totally used to get that. It was just so ingrained into me through whatever media that sex is all about making the man come. But if you genuinely want to, like doing it etc. then just keep persisting with it, the guilt will gradually lessen afterwards. Another thing you could do is let her do the same to you, emphasise a level playing ground. Keep telling her it turns you on to do it and that you want to, that you enjoy seeing her like that etc. She may find it hard to believe to begin with but she'll get there in the end. I did :smile:
