This may seem really minor, but I'm an only child and my parents constantly use me as the middle ground for their arguments. Generally one will get annoyed at the other for not telling them about something and will vent to me, eventually telling me to tell the other parent, who will get angry with them, thus angry with me. How do I deal with this situation, and tell my parents how hard this is for me, whilst I have other issues going on in my life, which I hardly ever talk to them about?

They sound very immature, and if they're arguing that often and getting so easily annoyed, it could be best for them to speak to someone. As for your situation, I honestly think the best thing to do would just be to be open and honest with them, you should not be expected to take on the role as mediator when they should be able to work things out for themselves but perhaps they just don't realise how much it's affecting you. Sit them down and let them know exactly how you feel, hopefully this will encourage them to stop and you can open a channel of communication where you can share your problems with them, that's what families are for, good luck op!
