In September 2016, I will be moving to London. I know how expensive it is up there and tbh, I'm terrified.

Now, we've found a place - a 7 bedroom house just up the road from our university (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama). It's 155pcm, which is affordable however this figure doesn't include bills.

The bills that need to be paid are electricity, gas, water, cable TV and internet.

Right now, I'm not 100% certain what my maintenance loan will be. My folks are in the middle of sorting that out. It'll be somewhere between 8,500-10,000.

I'm really confused as to where I can find out how much I will need to pay for bills.

Absolutely any advice at all would be super appreciated

If you go on splitthebills (Google it) they give estimates of how much per week bills will be depending on area + number of tenants. You can also arrange all your bills through them.

you found somewhere for £155pcm? Are you positive this is per month and not per week...

You don't need cable TV so you can wipe that. Just because the house has the facility for it doesn't mean you have to use it.

^^ This i'd double check that... I'm paying around £450 a month to live in a quiet northern town...I doubt London would be cheaper than that. 155 a week sounds more likely.
