Hello all.

How do you all find interpretations? It is the only part of the exam I sort of find difficult, on the others I have been getting high marks.

I've got no idea hahaha

We've still got to finish the economics chapter, interpretations chapter and even begin the culture chapter...

Italy's almost all done though!

I don't really have any tips except to make notes???

Well that sucks, we are completely done with Germany and I think we only have a few pages to cover on the fall of fascism.

Luckily it's all self teachable lol, most of it is a repeat from last year!

How ready do you feel for the exam and what grades do you think you'd get?

No idea.

Can't imagine they will be lower than other years unless the questions are weird...

80% for an A is a safe bet

Obviously I am aiming for an A grade, and so far I have been getting some in mocks. However, I need to work on my exam technique. My teacher said I talk a lot of ******** in my essays and never link back to the question except for in the conclusion, to put it nicely :P. How about you?

I've been getting As and Bs. Although I really don't feel like I'll produce that kind of work in the exam. That said, I tend to work well under exam pressure providing I've revised so I should be fine.

Just a little nervous about the interpretations question...

I, on the other hand, am pretty confident about the interpretations question. It's paper 2 that I am concerned about.

Paper 2 is pretty good!

You get a choice of three essay questions and you have source questions with very few marks attached.

For those doing Edexcel Route C: Britain, 1625-1701: Conflict, revolution and settlement - does anyone know where I can find a mark scheme for the Glorious Revolution interpretation question?

We've been somewhat under-guided in terms of how/what to write for the question, so any help is much appreciated
