I suspect you're still far more likely to be killed driving to Heathrow.

Yeah there's a chance but I have never heard about any terrorist attack in Heathrow before so I think it's pretty safe

Heathrow is so obvious a target that people have even started threads about it.

Stay well away from Luton,East Midlands or Manchester airports is my advice.

Then again that would be my advice regardless of any terrorist threat.

    Hope overcomes fear

Fear is what the terrorists want! Do not give them it!

    Yes, why wouldn't it be?
Because there has just been a major terrorist attack at an airport in Belgium?

I'd be more concerned if travelling from a smaller airport, but suspect ISIS will strike at an unconventional UK location, if/when they do

having passed through gatwick at 8 this morning the terror threat was severe and the were armed officers on the platform (haven't see them once in 18 months of commuting through there multiple times per week )

Seeing as there was a pretty big gap between Paris and Belgium, I assume Heathrow's all good for a while.

Probably a better time to go then, more on edge authorities means heightened security measures.

Which means tighter security, much more scrutiny from intelligence and people so wary they'll report anything everything that moves.

    How is that less safe?
