2016 Official AQA New Spec AS Level Physics Paper 1 - 24th of May 2016 watch

1. (Original post by _.Iqraaa_)
What did you guys people put for the six mark???
B and C
2. Wat ppl get for the one with the voltmeter between A and B
3. (Original post by 123chem)
B and C
Why C?
4. Got 9.39*10-4 metres for the diameter of the wire for the resistivity question.
5. (Original post by _.Iqraaa_)
Why C?
C for bungee jump think. D would snap too fast.

I think I got this

I wrote 9.4*10^-4. that should be fine too?
8. (Original post by BethFM)
Anyone know the answer to the question about voltage between A and B?
I put it stays as zero
9. Why are two photons produced and how do you find max frequency?
10. (Original post by 123chem)
I wrote 9.4*10^-4. that should be fine too?
yeah that's fine as well
11. (Original post by 123chem)

Yeah 9.4 it was a 2 sig fig question as the data was to 2 sig fig

Why are two photons produced and how do you find max frequency?
Consere momentum +energy
13. (Original post by Gurkin)
I put it stays as zero
Why would it be zero?
14. (Original post by blues123)
Why are two photons produced and how do you find max frequency?
hf= work fuction + kemax
f= work function + kemax / h
15. for the question asking why the chocolate was melted at those specific points, did you have to talk about them being antinodes or just about constructive interference occurring at those points?
16. (Original post by BethFM)
Why would it be zero?
Why would it be 0
17. (Original post by blues123)
Why are two photons produced and how do you find max frequency?
nvm haha wrong question
18. i do aqa chemistry and our specimen paper was really hard. people also said the physics specimen was really hard. how was the real exam compared to the specimen paper?
19. (Original post by 123chem)
C for bungee jump think. D would snap too fast.
I put D because the weight of a human is much less than a lift and a bungee cord needs to stretch and extend (elastic) to stop the person feeling too much force
20. (Original post by BethFM)
Why would it be zero?
i guessed. I just said cos it's in parallel with no components so must be zero, so should stay the same
