Have you had your eyes tested? You could need glasses.
And make sure you read in good light
Oh, I've been wearing glasses since I was 8! But I still get serious headaches.

But the good light advice is good, I read with just a lamplight on sometimes, which isn't too clever...

Stop reading? It's a bit of a no-brainer really.

Avoid eye-strain too. Bright light, etc.

Have you had an eye test recently? Maybe your prescription has changed?

I can think of some changes that may help:

- Make the page the brightest object in your vision. Trying to look at the page, but having a bright light also in your vision, will quickly strain your eyes.
- Every twenty minutes: look away from the book and at some distant objects for around fifteen seconds.
- Every hour: take a five minute break; use the time to go get a glass of water or a piece of fruit.

Hope this helps

Stop doing so much work and get:

a musical instrument
a pet
some porn
a life
Only when i'm stressed/tired and reading too much... get your eyes tested because you might need glasses.
