The intense courses, are they worth it? I've done the UKCAT once and didn't do very well. Also if no, how much time would you suggest you need to revise for a test like UKCAT? time frame to get 700+

    Thank you

    Hello!

Research shows that the highest performing students do around 30 hours of preparation. Many students split this revision between doing UKCAT practice questions and a UKCAT course.

Now, you don't want to over-do your revision and get frazzled, so make sure you gradually build up the number of hours you revise each week. Don't start too heavy or too early. The UKCAT test starts on 1st July and can be sat until the 21st September 2016 - you have plenty of time!

Check out the UKCAT website and the Candidate Preparation Toolkit (if you haven't already). The latter has past papers and tutorials on how to answer specific styles of questions. Very useful! Have a really thorough read of the UKCAT website and make use of all of its learning tools - it's really great! As a note to remember, this year the new section called Decision Making will not be marked!

On our website, we also have plenty of free information about the UKCAT, as well as a UKCAT Question Bank (the first 50 questions of which are free!).

Make sure you know the ins and outs of the test format so you don't get surprised by anything you haven't seen before. Also, if you're interested you can learn more about our UKCAT Courses here and find out if it's for you.

We hope the above information helps,
