Will i be awarded a degree if i score every module 40 % ? Watch

    ok i am quite confused with the UK education system as they refer everything by points.
    If i score every module a pass mark 40% , does that mean i will be awarded the degree ? can someone please explain it to me . Thank you very much .

    Yeah if you score everything to 40% or higher then that is a passed degree. The classification would be a third. If you think you will get a third and its early days, it may be worth considering investing your time differently.
    To do anything directly with your degree, at least a 2.2. is needed, but preferably a 2.1.
    The grade boundaries are; 40+ = third, 50+ = 2.2 (lower second class degree),60+ = upper second class degree, and 70+ = first class degree.
    Note that final grades differ from this very slightly and they make minor exceptions, in that if you say get 69.2% in your degree overall, they may round it up to a first class degree.

    Maybe OP is doing an ordinary degree and not an honours.

    But agreed, having a richard is useless. That's what I got (not entirely my own fault, might I add) and I've been stuffed ever since.
