Just wondering cos they are so dry i find it impossible to eat them  i have always wondered whether everyone else finds this to be the case. And no i'm not posh :cry2: these are asda scones (possible why they taste like the sahara desert :beard:). This isn't like a burning question i am just curious :ahee:
Perhaps if you get proper ones (not ASDA...) then you might like them more? I tried some at Bills and it was lush

Supermarket scones are never *that* nice tbh - scones are best freshly made. I like scones with jam and cream

I can only eat them if there's lot of jam on them.

Unless they are smothered in jam then yeah, I find them really dry and tasteless and almost impossible to swallow.

Every scone I've eaten from a supermarket has basically just crumbled all over me  I only really like the ones my mum makes - all the others are so dry!! :ahee:

That's why you have the classic combination of tea and scones. They're not so dry that way

Fresh scones are nicer. If you have to buy from supermarket you cna tell which the cheap scummy ones are. Scones from small bakers shops if you cant make your own. Havent had scones for a while, but butters ok if you dont do jam and cream.
