    Hi guys,
    I'm doing acid-base titration questions and I'm not sure how to tackle one of them :
    A buffer solution of ph= 3.87 contains 7.40 g dm-3 of propanoic acid together with a quantity of sodium propanoate. Ka for propanoic acid= 1.35 x10-5 mol dm-3 at 298 k. Calculate the concentration in g dm-3 of sodium propanoate in the solution, stating any assumptions made.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    That's not an acid-base titration Q, it is a buffer Q.

    If you've done buffer Qs, show us where you're up to.

    If you haven't done buffers, yet. Leave it well alone, probably until next year.

    Hi, I've done buffer questions so finding ph and concentrations from given information.
