I've applied to postgraduate courses in comparative literature and have by far received offers from these three universities.

Finance aside I would prefer Edinburgh over the other two, because of its superior international reputation in languages and literature.
The tricky part is: Edinburgh costs 17,000 pounds, Durham costs 15,000 and Trinity College Dublin costs only 6,000.

Is it really worthy to pay 10,000 more pounds to go to Edinburgh instead of Dublin?TCD also has great reputation in literature, but still it's not one of the top universities in the world, while Durham and Edinburgh have much higher world rankings.

I love both the city of Dublin and the city of Edinburgh. To me, these two cities are very much alike. Both are great cities of glorious literary past.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out. THX!
