girl taller than guy?

Guys: Would you date/have you dated a girl taller than you? If you've dated one, did it bother you and would you do it again? If you haven't, would you?

Girls: Have you ever dated a guy shorter than you? Experiences?

I've met someone who is shorter than me--I'm tall so that's not so crazy--and so far it's been OK. But I've never dated someone shorter and I'm worried things might not progress further if he starts to get insecure about it :s-smilie:

I dated a guy who was shorter than me and it didn't make any difference because I liked him so height was irrelevant - i do prefer guys to be a bit taller than me though.

Depends on how much shorter they are. I'm 6' and I went out with a guy who was 5'9". That was ok.

I went out with a girl taller than me before and a girl much shorter, height isn't an issue as far as I am concerned, it's the person they are.

Hunni it kinda sounds like you've already decided whether its an issue!!

In reality it'll be one if you make it one, he hasn't mentioned it so far, so why worry? It's only a two inch height difference, which ain't really that much.

Obviously, gender stereotypes and relationship stereotypes I guess, would suggest the male should be taller etc... but nowadays it really doesn't matter.

Chances are he does feel a little bit insecure about it, but if he's a normal guy he'll realise he can't do anything about it and he likes you anyway so it doesn't matter.

I'm 5ft 8 maybe 9 btw, so I do empathise...

Well the guys I like are always above 6' though my fiance is dead on. And i'd hate him to be any shorter, I suppose that's the best way to explain it.

Any girl who is 6'5+ would be some kind of Amazon-freak, which isn't very attractive. I tend to go for girls who are actually quite short, generally under 5'5".
