STEM A Levels watch

I'm thinking about doing double maths, physics and chemistry but I'm not sure if i will handle the work load and am wondering how those students who were classed as "lazy" but still got A/A* at GCSE were and how natural talent at maths translated into A Level. The college i have applied to is very independent and I'm not sure if ill cope. What are chemistry/physics like because I don't want to be just remembering facts as i really cannot regurgitate information. Just tell me your experience of these if nothing else.

    It will be tough!!

maths just requires practice to ensure fluency, chemistry has a lot of regurgitation of information, although i think syllabus is changing/changed so i dont know if this is still the case
