I'm seeing a guy. He's 32 yet writes on facebook like a 13 year old. In person he's lovely, great conversation, we get on really well and I like him.. just I do feel a bit weirded out by his status's and sometimes the way he writes messages to me. He uses the ":3" face in every sentence, and writes really weird random status's like "Beep Boop Boop".. Making cringey jokes and things multiple times a day.. I'd expect that from a kid, not a grown man! It's public and I do feel like I wouldn't want my friends to see this, it just feels a bit embarrassing sometimes seeing the way he writes things publicly like that.

I'm not intending on leaving him, he's a great guy in person (which is what really matters), I just want to address this but I'm worried I'll upset or offend him.. I know he's trying to get a job right now too, and with these things being public, they may actually be stopping him if employers look him up and see him acting like a kid who's new to the internet, so there's that too!

As long as it's not inappropriate, what's the harm, just unfollow him on fb if you don't want to see his posts

Have you thought of asking him why he writes such random posts?

    Just be weird too.

    Simplest solution.

My boyfriend is the exact same when he is on FB. It used to annoy me at first but nowadays I've just accepted that's who he is. He's rarely on nowadays anyway thankfully
