I've checked out my crush's Twitter a couple of times, just to snoop a little but mainly to have a look at her picture.

I'm not obsessing over her, it's just a mixture of curious and just wanting to see her face.

Would you think this is weird?

To be honest, I don't think looking at other peoples' social media can be creepy, unless you do it for hours at a time or something. It's stuff they have made public; they obviously want people to look at it.

    Yeah, you certainly right.

I just feel a little bit guilty

    Have you done this yourself?

A little; I don't use social media very much anyway.

Me neither. I stopped using FaceBook following a break up and haven't been on it for at least 11 months now I just use the messenger to contact my mates.

Do you think it'd bother a girl if, after she'd asked me for my FB details, I tell her that I don't use it so it's pointless adding me?

Do you reckon my crush does it too? Although she won't find much because I haven't been on for a long time

Seems like a good way to appear uninterested. If you don't want to come across that way, I'd suggest offering her some other way of getting in contact with you instead - whatever means of communication you do use.

If she fancies you, then probably. It's the first thing you do when you realise you have a crush haha

Oh yeah definitely! Damn, I didn't realise that that could come across as a bit cold and dismissive.

I would of course hand my phone number over, or even my email (but I don't think many people use e-mails for personal life)

It's not creepy. She's on social media, she knows people are going to be prying through her stuff

The fact you're asking a forum about this tells me you are presently at a stage at which you may come across as servile/potentially creepy

Have the confidence of your convictions and unapologetically satisfy your curiosities (within reason). "Sure I checked you out, you're cute"
