So I have an offer for 2nd year mphys at Edinburgh A*AA, and an offer for UCL mphys of AA.
It's too hard for me to choose which one to firm. Edinburgh is a nicer place imo, and starting in second year means that the course would be the same duration as at UCL; however, UCL is more internationally recognised.

UCL is more expensive, which is certainly not a good thing. Idk which place has the best physics department.

UCL also provides opportunities to study for a year abroad in some really good US unis, which is appealing.

I wish to firm either UCL or Edinburgh and have the other as my insurance. Thoughts? Which is the best in your opinion?

Which course and uni do you prefer and choose that one. You arent going to be thinking about the prestige of a uni when youre there if you hate it
