I had chickenpox when I was younger but they seemed to have returned twice now, two months apart. I'm starting to get concerned because I have had them this time for two weeks. From what I have read, they are only supposed to last at the most 7 days.
The good news is that the infection did not spread across my body. I guess since I hd them when I was a child I am only slightly open to the infection. I only seem to get the sores below the waist. Between my hips and my knees.
If someone could let me know if they have had chickenpox more than once, and if so what did you to rid of the rash?
My mum told me to try an oatmeal bath, but that is not working. Thanks!

This is google's 2 cents
Once you have had chickenpox, you usually develop antibodies to the infection and become immune to catching it again. However, the virus that causes chickenpox, the varicella-zoster virus, remains inactive (dormant) in your body's nerve tissues and can return later in life as an illness called shingles.
edit:just realised you wanted personal experiences sorry cant help there but at least I bumped your thread xDLast edited by ForestShadow; 24-03-2016 at 10:44.
