Hi, I've got 2 identical offers to study music tech at Bath Spa and De Montfort. The 2 places couldn't be more different and I'm having trouble deciding between them. Slightly leaning towards Bath as the course seems really good but it is a campus about 4 miles from town so might feel a bit cut off. Leicester is right in the middle of town with a great buzz to it but course not as good. Does anyone have any experience of either for courses and general living experience? Thanks

Hi - I've moved this to the Performing arts and music forum where it's more likely to get an answer. If noone spots this thread specifically then try posting in the stickied threads to talk to the broadest groups of people

You might also want to have a look in the Bath Spa University and De Montfort University forums. Again there will be stuck threads where you can chat to fellow applicants and current students.

    Hi Purdsie,

I just wanted to give you the opportunity to check Echo Factory out, if you were still a little unsure on other options that may be available, as UCAS Extra is now open with the opportunity to still apply.

If you want to know more about us, feel free to head over to our Music Degrees page at: http://www.echofactory.co.uk/overview/

We offer a BA (HONS) Music Business (UCAS CODE: W375) which I think you would be really interested in. This course covers all aspect of technology and production, but backs it up with crucial business skills needed to support this.

Our courses are designed to give you real-life music industry experience and insight and are based around the concept of 360 degree knowledge.

We focus fully on individual talents and the development of each of our students strengths.

Based in the buzzing, vibrant city of Leicester, if your wanting to pursue a career in music, whatever the role may be, you should definitely check out our courses.

On UCAS they come under University of Wolverhampton as they are validated by them, but you would be studying at our brand new facilities, which has a record studio, in house venue, lecture theatre and mac suites.

Check us out if your interested and pick up the phone for a chat! 0116 253 5657 or email me on [email protected]

I am happy to have a chat and guide you to the right option for you.

    Speak soon,

    Taylor

Do you understand that someone looking to choose between 2 offers is unlikely to be interested in applying elsewhere through Extra?
